Kristy learnt to dance in Lismore and Sydney before graduating from the VCA in 2001 with a Bachelor of Dance and the Mary Orloff Prize for Most Outstanding Dancer. In 2002 Kristy joined Chunky Move and has since performed and toured in all major new work, most recently including the solo performance Glow and I want to dance better at parties for which she was nominated for a Green Room Award.
As well Chunky Move’s Gideon Obarzanek, Kristy has performed for choreographers Lucy Guerin (Love Me) Prue Lang (Infinite Temporal Series) Shelley Lasica (Play in a Room) and Kim Itoh (Butterfly and Me).
In 2007, Kristy joined Luke George, Luke Smiles and Martyn Coutts for the first development of LIFE-SIZE. The group will continue to work together in 2008.
